- Sangkaragung Village
The village is located in sub regent of Negara. It located approximately 5 km to the east of Negara. Sangkaragung, is the center of Jembrana’s original musical instrument "Jegog". Sangkaragung gained its world status as it performs three times annually in Japan. While the village itself Jegog Sangkaragung staged for tourists every Sunday and Thursday at Studio Jegog Suar Agung. Tourist can learn to play jegog in this studio.

- Jembrana Regency consists of 5 sub districts which are Jembrana, Melaya, Pekutatan, Negara and Mendoyo. Jembrana is the youngest amongst them and was only established a few years ago.

Bali which is also known as Pulau Dewata or the island of God possesses some unique facts, as well as beautiful scenery and unique customs. Balinese people often believe what they believe. Loloan: Where Different Cultures Live in Harmony
Loloan is the name of two villages in Jembrana Regency of Bali Province, separated by a river; Ijo Gading, which runs through the village. East part of the river is called Loloan Timur and the west part is called Loloan Barat. The village is connected each other by a bridge called the Old Sharif Bridge. Loloan has its own language that is different as the language of the surrounding areas, not Balinese, Javanese, or any other. The language is called Loloan Language (Base Loloan) which is similar to Malay language.
Temple of Bakungan - a Part of Bali History
The presence of Pura Bakungan in Gilimanuk Village, Melaya, Jembrana Regency can be used as a reminder for us not to lose our awareness in performing variety of policies in this life. The location where Bakungan Temple is located was also the location of Bakungan Kingdom. Its capital was located in the middle of Gilimanuk and it disappeared due to a very simple thing.

Palasari Church: Where East and West Architecture met
If you drive from Denpasar towards Gilimanuk Harbour, approximately 20 kilometers (Honestly, I have measure it with my odometer J) from the capital of Jembrana Regency, Negara, you will find a t-junction and you will find a direction sign “palasari”. Before this sign you will also see the sign for Taman Wana Villas. The sign is quite large and quite easy to see, just don’t hesitate to make a right turn. J). The distance from the t-junction to the church is approximately 5 km. Just follow the road until you find an intersection with a little monument in the middle. Make a right turn and again just follow the road and enjoy the scene.
A Balinese Folklore : Manik Angkeran
In earlier times in the kingdom of Daha, Kediri, East Java, lived a Brahmin by the name of Sidi Mantra and he is very famous for his ability to create miracles. Sanghyang Widya or The Supreme God presented him with prosperity and a beautiful wife. After few years of marriage, they had a son who they called Manik Angkeran.

Jayaprana and Layonsari: the Story of Balinese Romeo and Juliet
Two villagers, I Nyoman Jayaprana (favourite servant of the Kingof Kalianget in Singaraja) met with Ni Nyoman Layonsari (daughter Jero Bandesa Banjar Sekar). Since their meeting in a market, Layonsari and Jayaprana were deeply in love. They finally agreed to get married and have prepared everything for their wedding. However, their marriage did not last long as the King of Kalianget fall in love with the beauty of Layonsari. The King used every trick available to separate this couple.
Kulkul: Not Just a Balinese Percussion
Kulkul is a traditional communication instrument of Balinese people which is made of wood or bamboo. A Balinese organisation normally will have at least a kulkul. Kulkul could also be found in other parts of Indonesia, and is commonly called as kentongan.
Mekepung: Jembrana's Very Own Formula One Racing
Jembrana is located in west part of Bali, probably the most less-known part of Bali considering its distance from major tourist attraction in Bali. As the result, only little potentials that are known by public. One of the “unknown” potential is the buffalo is the buffalo (mekepung) races.
